Discernment / Resonate / And Free Will

If you are new on the awakening journey, there are some popular terminologies you might not be familiar with. One of them is discernment. Usually a video or article, or awakening coach or guru will be like "Use your own discernment, don't just take my word for it."

So after hearing that several times, I needed to know what exactly discernment was, and why everyone kept saying it. So I searched the definition of the word,  and guess what, it's just judgement. Use your own judgement whether you want to believe something, or if it resonates with you. Not sure why they can't say use your own guidance or judgement, instead of discernment, but there it is.

Resonate is another term you hear a lot in the spiritual world. You often hear, "only if it resonates with you." Which basically means only if it jives with you, if you feel that whatever they are saying applies. If not you can discard it, and dismiss it. We have free will. It's always our choice what we believe and allow into our lives.

The last term I hear a lot is, free will. If you read something, watch something, or hear something. It is up to you to decide if you want to accept it or not, you have the free will. If you want your spirit team, or God, or Angels to be in your life you have to ask. Anything you hear you can accept it or discard it and move on. We as humans, on this Earth have free will. We have to ask for things. If you want God or Angels to help you with your problems, you have to ask, or prayer. Whatever your spiritual beliefs are.

So in this day and age with every thing coming out in the open, it is important to use your discernment, make sure that something you hear rings true, resonates with you. And at the end of the day it is your choice whether you believe and accept it. We all have free will. You do not have to accept anything someone tells you, you are in control of what you believe. Remember that. You always have free will. No one else has that power over you.
